Home Sweet Home (e.i. How to face the instability)

In the modern age it is quite common to come across people with mental disease. Or, at least this is how the society define them. Indeed we need to label (or maybe we should use “to tag” since we are in the era of the social network!) the others, we need to find a “name” which can allow us to distinguish between ourselves and the rest of the world. However, although I am not a huge fan of the current society, this behavior is something peculiar of the human beings, it has been always like that and it will always be. So, this is not a criticism of the modern society, the aim of these words appearing on this text is to try to come a bit closer to people we judge completely different from us, a way to reduce the gap between “us” and who we classify as unstable, precarious, which sometimes turn into freak!

The instability can be the result of many factors, such as familiar background, stress at work, sentimental problems, bullied at school and so on and so forth. Obviously, a factor contributing a lot, both in a positive and negative way, is the place where you live. For example, if we look at the whole refugees problem, we should always keep in mind that they would have never left their hometown in the first place, if it was up to them. Why? Because in the place they have left for going toward some northern European country, there was their home, and therefore there was their life. There are very few persons who travel and don’t have a fix dwelling; a stable place! But, most of the people in this world they related their entire life to place. This place could be a country, a city, a district or, at the lowest and deepest level, a house. Without that, the stability is a target which is far away to be reached. Not having a stable place where to spend your spare time, might contribute to a general instability in the deep of a human soul. In Naples they say that “The Health is the first thing” (e.i. is the most important thing), but between the health and a good pizza –in the third position-, at the second place there is the right to have a proper and decent home.

This has to be kept in mind. People deserve it. People deserve a HOME SWEET HOME!
